Guidelines for Software Owners

Genealogy Today has put together this comprehensive software guide and our research team has submitted listings for as many programs as they could locate.

You will need to be registered as a Team Roots member in order to make further changes. Once you register, send us your Team Roots userid and I will make the necessary security changes on your listings. As a bonus for registering, you will have access to the most recent user survey results for your listings.

If you have a (relatively non-biased) article you would like to submit, please feel free to send it to us. Any article we choose to publish will include a paragraph at the end highlighting the author and may mention the software programs he/she is responsible including links to your web site.

There have been some discussions internally at Genealogy Today of producing this guide in printed format sometime in 2002 for distribution to our Genealogy Times newsletter readers, which includes many readers who do not have access to the Internet. The printed guide would include advertising opportunities, so let us know if you would be interested in supporting this effort.

If there are additional data fields you think we should add to the listings and/or questions we should add to the user surveys, by all means let us know. We are very flexible and welcome all suggestions.
